I had intended to be home and posting pictures and observations from our trip to Malawi, Africa by now, but due to some extraordinary delays, I am posting this from the London airport. Most of our team is home, the last few of us will arrive in Los Angeles later this afternoon.
The delay did give us the opportunity to visit the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg and this quote from a black South African is now seared in my heart. I will leave it for you to ponder and then tomorrow get on with my series of posts:
"When the Europeans came we had the land and they had the Bible, now we have the Bible and they have our land."
Can't--shouldn't--mission be much, much better than this?
